Shingo Shintani

Twenty years as an engineer. Leadership roles including VPoE and CPO at multiple technology startups, leading product development and organizational scaling. I now create and produce films with AI, exploring the intersection of cinematic expression and technology.

Why AI film

Two decades of watching how things get made taught me one frustration: the people who can make and the people who can decide are rarely the same. AI closes that gap. Making and deciding can happen in one person, at one speed. I want to prove that possibility on film.

How we work

I lead concept, direction, and quality. Production scales through collaborating creators in AI and live action, matched to each project.

• 2007–Software Engineer
  From web and business systems to end-to-end product development.
• 2014–VPoE / CPO at multiple tech startups
  Led product development and organizational scaling.
• 2023–Started creating with generative AI
  Beginning with image generation, then film and story. Approaching generative AI from both the technical and the expressive side. The same year, launched and ran several faceless AI-driven accounts; multiple YouTube channels reached monetization.
• 2024–Business lead, public-sector digital transformation
  Runs a public-sector digital business; also works with a local municipality.
• 2024–AI Creative Producer
  Film production and producing with generative AI, in earnest.

  Four awards at international AI film festivals.
• 2026–Co-founder & Director, OMNI TOKYO
  Launching the Japanese edition of the OMNI International AI Film Festival. Tokyo, January 2027.
